About Us

We're locally owned and operated here at Property Management of Asheville, so we know the area and can provide you with friendly help and a quality experience. Our owners, Sandra Sparrow and Bly Connor-Lloyd, have managed properties with 31 years combined experience. They are both licensed Real Estate Brokers, and happy to work with you in order to meet your property management needs.

Our staff is highly trained and professional, and can assist you with any questions and concerns you have about the process of property management. We offer 24 hour emergency service to our tenants, too, so they don't have to deal with serious maintenance issues that could occur outside of business hours. Keeping both owners and tenants happy is very important to us, and a big part of our business philosophy.

We have a goal of providing quality service, whether you're with us for a few months or a number of years, because we know that building relationships with owners and tenants benefits everyone involved. As a company that's committed to the Asheville, North Carolina area, we're ready and willing to help you manage a property that you own, or get into a great place where you can really feel at home.

Services

It is our goal at P.M.A. to provide quality service for the owners we represent and for our tenants, however long they are with us. Here is a list of services we provide:
  • Advertising of rental properties
  • Screening of prospective tenants based on financial capability, credit history, and rental history, when available
  • Preparing leases and collecting security deposits to hold until the tenant vacates. Deposit is fully refunded if the property is left clean and in good condition, normal wear and tear accepted. If not, some of the deposit will be used for repairs and work caused by tenant.
  • Collecting of monthly rent
  • Sending collected rents to owner, minus property management fees and any maintenance work as needed. Owner will receive a detailed account of any work done on property.
  • Arranging for bills to be paid for owner, if desired, such as condo fees, mortgage payments, or utilities
  • Arranging for any necessary maintenance or repairs to be done on property, in communication with tenant
  • Handling any potential problems that might arise from tenant lease violation, and if needed, manage eviction proceedings
Please note that our fees are a percentage of the rent collected.
